lettering), olive green, cylindrical, sand chip pontil scar,
pint, applied sloping collar with ring, mint. Blown at the Saratoga
Mountain Glass Works, Mount Pleasant, NY, C. 1850, rare.
This rarely encountered Mountain Glass point-sized mineral water
is a superior example of its type with a wider than normal mouth
and pleasing overall crudity. The bottle is fresh to the market,
having been discovered in the 1960s and held in a Rutland, Vermont
collection until its present offering.
