ITEM 7178. "G.W. WESTON & CO / SARATOGA / N.Y.," (Tucker E-2:B Type 3 with large lettering), olive green, cylindrical, sand chip pontil scar, pint, applied sloping collar with ring, mint. Blown at the Saratoga Mountain Glass Works, Mount Pleasant, NY, C. 1850, rare.

This rarely encountered Mountain Glass point-sized mineral water is a superior example of its type with a wider than normal mouth and pleasing overall crudity. The bottle is fresh to the market, having been discovered in the 1960s and held in a Rutland, Vermont collection until its present offering.
