PRETTY GIII-14A LANCASTER CORNUCOPIA - AS FOUND

ITEM 7165. CORNUCOPIA - URN, (McK#GIII-14A), bluish aquamarine, pontil scar, half-pint, sheared and fire polished mouth, and attic quality flask with a 2" potstone crack in the shoulder. Blown at the Lancaster Glass Works, Lancaster, NY, 1830-1850.

Oh it's cracked alright but I simply couldn't pass up this pretty little flask. The bottle is the hard-to-find variant with the dime sized depression in the urn and the glass is teeming with bubbles. There's no wear or post-manufacture damage, just the pesky crack that as you will see in the photos, actually "disappears" when viewed straight on. It would make a great window bottle!
