"THE BEST" ICY BLUE GI-71 MAJOR RINGGOLD FLASK

ITEM 7164. "MAJOR RINGGOLD" / BUST OF RINGGOLD - "ROUGH AND READY" / BUST OF TAYLOR, (McK# GI-71), icy bluish aquamarine, pontil scar, pint, sheared and fire polished mouth, mint. American, probably blown at the Baltimore Glass Works, Baltimore, MD, 1830-1850.

Although it is not the most expensive this Ringgold flask is far and away my favorite among the small collection of flasks we bought this weekend. The mold detailing is superb (as good as any we have seen or handled), the color is better than "just aqua" and as shown, the glass is filled with a myriad of tiny bubbles. This is the one you want to own!!!
