BOLDLY EMBOSSED COVENTRY, CT GII-71 DOUBLE EAGLE

 

ITEM 7163. EAGLE - EAGLE, (McK# GII-71), golden olive amber, pontil scar, half-pint, sheared and fire polished mouth, a mint flask with some washable content residue. Blown at the Coventry Glass Works, Coventry, CT, 1830-1850, comparatively scarce.

This pristine perfect double eagle flask exhibits much better than average mold detailing and good, rich color.
