ITEM 7162. (SIX-POINTED STAR
WITH ALL SEEING EYE / "AD" - (SIX POINTED STAR WITH
RAISED ARM) / GRJA", (McK# GIV-43), brilliant golden amber,
early smooth base, pint, applied sloping collar, mint. Blown
at a Stoddard Glass Works, Stoddard, NH, C.1850.
It is this flask's lighter than normal color, bubbly glass and
superb mold impression that make it a superior example of its
type. The applied sloping collar is to my eye far more visually
appealing than the more typically seen sheared and fire polished
mouth treatment.
