MOSTLY YELLOW CONNECTICUT CHESTNUT BOTTLE

 

ITEM 7153. CHESTNUT BOTTLE, bright olive yellow, pontil scar, 5 3/16"H, crudely applied mouth, mint. Blown at a Connecticut Glass House, 1790-1830.

It is this bottle's bright (mostly yellow) color and slimmer than normal profile that make it a particularly attractive example of its type.
