ITEM 7142. BLOWN THREE MOLD DECANTER,
(McK# GI-29), pale yellow green, cylindrical, pontil scar, quart,
as found with a 6" long crack. Blown at the Mount Vernon
Glass Works, Vernon, New York, 1820-1840, very rare.
Yep, it's cracked all right but this rarely encountered carafe
displays beautifully and it would look great on any shelf. The
glass color is different than others we have encountered, as
it is both lighter and more yellow than is the norm.
