MAMMOTH 16 1/4" CASE GIN BOTTLE

ITEM 7136. MAMMOTH CASE GIN BOTTLE, clear olive green, square, tubular pontil scar, 16 ¼"H, applied mouth, a mint bottle with some base edge surface crazing as is common to gins of this size. Blown at a Dutch Glass House, C. 1780, rare. This massive gin bottle is a superior example of its type with numerous "foam galaxies" in the glass that add marked visual appeal. The noted crazing is NOT damage but rather a natural condition of manufacture and the piece exhibits only minor usage wear and scuffing. SOLD!
