PRUSSIAN BLUE SAN FRANCISCO DICKEY CHEMIST BOTTLE

ITEM 7028. "DICKEY / PIONEER / 1850 / CHEMIST / SF," Prussian blue, square, smooth base, 5 11/16"H, applied square collar, a mint bottle with some washable content residue. American, C. 1880, scarce color. Although these neat San Francisco medicines are not uncommon, this is an example that truly sings. The bottle is not cobalt or sapphire but rather a true Prussian blue in color and as shown, the piece is also very boldly embossed and filled with tiny bubbles. SOLD!
