ITEM 7022. "DR. S.S. FITCH
- 707 B'WAY, NY," (size not listed in Greer), aquamarine,
rectangular, pontil scar, 4 7/8"H x 1"D x 2 1/16"W,
delicately flared mouth, mint. American, C. 1840, scarce.
Though I have catalogued this bottle as scarce it could in fact
be a rare bottle, as I have found no reference to this particular
size. Regardless of its availability (or lack therof) the bottle
is a beautiful piece of early glass with an impossibly fragile
(and intact!) flared lip and an attractive pinch of glass in
the shoulder.
