RARE COBALT BLUE TUXEDO PARK AND SUFFERN, NY DRUGGIST BOTTLE

ITEM 7020. "PARET & LAMOUREE, INC. / THE RELIABLE DRUG STORES / TUXEDO PARK, NY - SUFFERN, NY - WT & CO / USA (on base)," cobalt blue, square, smooth base, 5 13/16"H, hand tooled mouth, about mint (some exterior wear and dullness). Blown at the Whitall Tatum Glass Works, Millville, NJ, C. 1885, rare. This attractive pharmaceutical bottle is one that we have not previously encountered and in doing a quick google search for the merchant I found an image of the Suffern. NY store that can be viewed at the following address: http://www.hrvh.org/cdm4/item_viewer.php?CISOROOT=/larc&CISOPTR=1698&REC=9 It appears that this bottle was dug but it remains in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. SOLD!
