ITEM 6976. PATTERN MOLDED GLOBULAR
BOTTLE, bright yellow amber, 24 ribs swirled to the right, pontil
scar, 8 7/8"H, outwardly folded mouth, a mint bottle exhibiting
the expected light usage wear. Midwestern, probably blown at
the Zanesville Glass Works, Zanesville, OH, 1820-1840.
Noticeably lighter in color than most pattern molded globs, this
fine specimen is also somewhat taller and more elongated than
is the norm.
