ITEM 6965. "HARRISON'S /
COLUMBIAN / INK," brilliant sapphire blue, octagonal, pontil
scar, 1 7/16"H, inwardly rolled mouth, a mint bottle with
somewhat weakened embossed lettering. American, probably blown
at the Whitney Glass Works, Glassboro, NJ, C. 1850, extremely
rare color.
This spectacular little ink is one of four known examples in
blue and one of only two that is undamaged. The other undamaged

not surfaced since. This piece is fresh to the bottle market
and it exhibits brilliant color and superb glass clarity.
