BEAUTIFUL UTILITY JAR - EX. GARDNER AND HECKLER

 

ITEM 6960. DIP MOLDED JAR, yellow olive, cylindrical, pontil scar, 15"H, sheared and tooled mouth with applied ring, mint. Blown at a French or Dutch Glass House, 1780-1820. ex. Charles B. Gardner and Norman C. Heckler Collections.

This appealing European bottle has quite a history, having been owned and proudly displayed by both Charlie Gardner and Norm Heckler. The bottle is larger than others of its general type and remarkably free of wear and scratching.
