VERY RARE GII-90 ZANESVILLE EAGLE QUART

 

ITEM 6901. EAGLE - EAGLE - "KH & Co. ZO" (on base), (McK# GII-90), aquamarine, smooth base, quart, applied mouth with ring, a mint flask with a few patches of light interior haze. Probably blown at a Zanesville Glass Works, Zanesville, OH, C. 1875, rare. There were very, very few molds that eluded Judge Blaske in his collecting career and this is one of them. Although it is perhaps not much to look at this is an important bottle for anyone looking to assemble a complete collection of Eagle flasks or a comprehensive grouping of Ohio bottles. SOLD!
