YELLOW GII-93 PITTSBURGH DOUBLE EAGLE FLASK - EXTREMELY RARE COLOR!

ITEM 6900. EAGLE - EAGLE, (McK# GII-93), yellow, smooth base, pint, applied mouth with ring, about mint (tiny base edge bruise). Blown at a Pittsburgh Glass House, Pittsburgh, PA, C. 1870, extremely rare color.

Those in the know understand that yellow (and not blue or puce) is the hardest color to find in a figured flask and this is the only example we know of in this particular mold. The flask is purely yellow with no amber and no olive and as shown, the glass is filled with a a dizzying array of distended bubbles. If you are looking to add a splash of color to your collection this is the flask for you!
