GX-1 GOOD GAME FLASK - SUPERIOR EXAMPLE!

 

ITEM 6869. STAG / "GOOD / GAME" - WILLOW TREE, (McK# GX-1), aquamarine, pontil scar, pint, sheared and fire polished mouth, mint. American, 1830-1850, scarce.

Although it is not documented as such it is likely that this flask was blown at the Coffin and Hay Glass Works in Southern New Jersey. Unlike other flasks blown in this mold, this top shelf example boasts superb mold detailing and crisply defined lettering. There is no high point wear and no damage.
