BEAUTIFULLY WHITTLED GI-73 TAYLOR - BALTIMORE MONUMENT

ITEM 6867. "GENL TAYLOR" / BUST OF TAYLOR - "FELLS POINT" / MONUMENT / "BALTO", (McK# GI-73), brilliant aquamarine, tubular pontil scar, pint, crudely sheared and fire polished mouth, sparkling attic mint. Blown at the Baltimore Glass Works, Baltimore, MD, C. 1830.

Boldly embossed and strikingly crude, this top-of-the-line Baltimore pint is a superior example of the GI-73 mold. True, the flask can be found in better colors but one would be hard pressed to improve upon the mold clarity and overall aesthetic appeal of this attic perfect specimen.
