ITEM 6847. FREEBLOWN MINIATURE
WINE GLASS OR CORDIAL, aquamarine, generally cylindrical with
drawn stem and applied solid glass foot, pontil scar, 3 ¼"H,
sheared and fire polished rim, mint. American, probably blown
at a Southern New Jersey Glass House, 1830-1850, rare form.
This adorable miniature wine glass is fresh to the market, having
been "picked" at a flea market earlier this summer.
The piece is blown from bottle glass and it exhibits a somewhat
lopsided appearance, adding markedly to its visual appeal.
