ITEM 6759. EAGLE - "LOUISVILLE,
KY / GLASS WORKS," (McK# GII-36), aquamarine, smooth base,
pint, applied mouth with ring, about mint (light overall interior
haze and some minor exterior wear). Blown at the Louisville Glass
Works, Louisville, KY, C. 1870.
This already attractive flask would be a perfect candidate for
a light interior tumble. As is typically the case, the embossed
lettering towards the base of the flask is rather weak but as
shown, the detailing of the eagle is superb.
