ITEM 6752. CATHEDDRAL SAUCE BOTTLE,
brilliant aquamarine, square, early smooth base, 10 5/8"H,
applied sloping collar with ring, mint. American, C. 1870, rare.
This fresh to the market food bottle is an interesting cross
between a pickle and a peppersauce. Bottles of this design are
quite uncommon and this is a superb example with good mold definition,
brilliant glass and moderate whittling.
