8 3/8"h CONNECTICUT CHESTNUT BOTTLE

 

ITEM 6692. CHESTNUT BOTTLE, pale olive green, pontil scar, 8 3/8"H, crudely applied collar, about mint (small, skin deep open bubble just above the base edge). Blown at a New England Glass Works, 1790-1830.

Larger and more gracefully formed than most, this fine chestnut flask would enhance any period décor or stand proudly in a graduated run.
