Good fortune has allowed us to acquire yet another of these scarcely encountered Willington Townsend's and as with the last example we offered, it's a dandy. The bottle is decidedly "greener" than the previous example and more strongly embossed. It is interesting to note that this bottle has a sand chip pontil scar while the last example featured an iron pontil. This proves yet again that the specific type of pontil scar is not necessarily indicative of a bottle's age and that the gaffer's/apprentices would use whatever tooling was on hand to get the job done.
