MINT COBALT BLUE BENJAMIN GREEN APOTHECARY PORTSMOUTH, NH

ITEM 6604. "BENJAMIN GREEN / APOTHECARY / PORTSMOUTH, NH," cobalt blue, rectangular, smooth base, 7 ½"H, hand-tooled square collar, mint. Blown at the Whitall Tatum Glass Works, Millville, NJ, C. 1885, very scarce.

This hard-to-find New Hampshire medicine is one of only a few cobalt blue New England bottles. This example is particularly dark in color and very boldly embossed with no damage, wear or staining.
