GOLDEN YELLOW AMBER MIDWESTERN PAN

ITEM 6597. FREEBLOWN PAN OR BOWL, golden yellow amber, pontil scar, 2 3/8"H x 7 5/8"D, outwardly folded mouth, mint. Probably blown at a Midwestern Glass House, 1820-1840. Notably lighter and brighter than other pans of the period, this well-crafted object is likely the product of an Ohio Glass House. As with other blown glass tableware made in the region, the piece is blown from a high grade of metal and expertly formed SOLD!
