ITEM 6448. PATTERN MOLDED FLASK,
bright yellow amber, 24 ribs swirled to the right, 5 ¼"H,
sheared and fire polished mouth, a mint flask exhibiting the
expected usage wear. Blown at a Midwestern Glass House, 1820-1840.
This superb little flask is one of five truly special half-pint
Ohio pocket flasks carefully assembled by a longtime collector.
Chosen specifically for mold impression, form and brilliance
of color, each of the five flasks is decidedly different and
the group as a whole is magnificent. Priced individually, I would
still really prefer to sell the group as a whole and will work
with prospective buyers to make that possible. Each of the flasks
is individually GREAT but it is the collection as a whole that
makes the strongest visual statement.
