MIDWESTERN 24 RIB GLOBULAR BOTTLE

 

ITEM 6287. PATTERM MOLDED GLOBULAR BOTTLE, aquamarine, 16 ribs, ribbed and swirled to the right, pontil scar, 9"H, applied inverted tapered collar, a mint bottle exhibiting light overall usage wear. American, probably blown at a Pittsburgh District Glass House, C. 1840. It is this bottle's unusually formed applied collar that distinguishes it is a Pittsburgh product. SOLD!
