BEAUTIFUL
PINT SIZED NEW ENGLAND PITKIN-TYPE FLASK
ITEM 6284. PITKIN-TYPE FLASK,
olive green, 36 ribs, ribbed and swirled to the left, pontil
scar, 6 7/8"H, sheared and fire polished mouth, mint. Blown
at a New England Glass Works, 1790-1820.
Somewhat larger than most Pitkin-type pints, this beautiful bottle
is also exquisitely formed and boldly ribbed. There is little,
if any, wear at the high points and as shown, the delicate glass
passes light with ease.
