GOLDEN YELLOW 24 RIB ZANESVILLE GLOBULAR BOTTLE - GREAT SIZE!

 

 

ITEM 6199. PATTERN MOLDED GLOBULAR BOTTLE, golden yellow amber, 24 ribs swirled to the left, pontil scar, 7 1/16"H, outwardly folded mouth, mint. Midwestern, probably blown at the Zanesville Glass Works, Zanesville, OH, 1820-1840, rare size and color.


This delightful little pattern molded glob is a superb example with good color, pleasing form and bold ribbing. Noticeably smaller than most, the bottle stands just a hair over seven inches in height. The surface is remarkably free of wear and there is no damage.
