kensington gi-14 firecracker flask - crisp mold!

ITEM 6163. "GENERAL WASHINGTON" / BUST OF WASHINGTON - "KENSINGTON GLASS WORKS PHILADELPHIA" - "ADAMS & JEFFERSON JULY 4 A.D. 1776" - "E. PLURIBUS UNUM" - EAGLE - "T.W.D.", (McK# GI-14), aquamarine, pontil scar, pint, sheared and fire polished mouth, shallow 1/8" inner mouth flake. Blown at the Kensington Glass Works, C. 1826.

It is this flask's exceptionally bold embossing, crisp lettering and brilliant surface that make it a superior example of its type. The inner mouth flake is not disfiguring and the piece is otherwise perfect with no wear at the high points. It, as with many of the other flasks we are offering, is fresh to the market, having been stored in an Ohio estate for decades.
