ITEM 5859. PITKIN-TYPE
FLASK, yellow with an slight olive tone, 36 ribs swirled to the
left, pontil scar, 5 3/16"H x 3 3/4"W at widest point,
sheared and fire polished mouth, mint. New England, probably
blown at the Pitkin Glass Works, East Hartford, CT, 1790-1820.
This spectacular little Pitkin flask is as fine as any you could
hope to find. The color, form, and mold impression simply could
not be improved upon!
