amethyst, 12-sided, smooth base, 6 9/16"H, tooled mouth,
a mint bottle with a few wisps of interior fogging. Blown at
the Boston and Sandwich Glass Works, Sandwich, MA, 1860-1880.
Lighter and noticeably more delicate
than others of its type, this delightful cologne bottle is blown
in what we feel is the best possible shade of amethyst glass.
Heavy glass whittling adds notably to the charm of this spectacular
window bottle.
