RARE BRIGHT GREEN MISSISQUOI "A" SPRINGS QUART

ITEM 5793. "MISSISQUOI / A / SPRINGS", (Tucker# V-16:A), bright green, cylindrical, smooth base, quart, applied sloping collar with ring, about mint (shallow 3/16" base edge flake opposite the embossing). American, 1865-1875, rare color. This 4" diameter Missisquoi Springs bottle is not listed in colors other than olive or olive amber and thus it is a treat to be able to offer this fine example, blown in a delightful shade of clear green. Although it is not technically "mint," the noted flake is VERY minor and thankfully located opposite the embossing. SOLD!
