- SCHIEDAM - AROMATIC / SCHNAPPS", bright yellow topaz,
square, smooth base, 9 1/2"H, applied sloping collar, a
mint bottle with a manufacturer's surface crazing line at the
junction of the neck and shoulder. American, 1865-1875, scarce
color.
Primarily yellow with some subtle topaz or apricot tones, this
crude and bubbly Schnapps bottle is a startlingly beautiful piece
of early glass. Were it a bitters, a bottle in this color would
