ITEM 5770. BLOWN-THREE-MOLD DRAM
OR CORDIAL, (McK# GII-16), clear flint glass, heavily manipulated
with a conical bowl and drawn foot, pontil scar, 3"H, sheared
and fire polished rim, mint. Blown at the Boston and Sanwich
Glass Works, Sandwich, MA, 1820-1840, rare.
As with all of the cordials we have seen blown in the GII-16
mold this object's mold pattern is somewhat distorted as a result
of heavy manipulation. With that said, any lack of grace is superseded
by the inherent charm of this rare little gem.
