FIERY OPALESCENT STARCH BLUE SANDWICH COLOGNE - SCARCE COLOR

ITEM 5759. COLOGNE BOTTLE, fiery opalescent starch blue, polygonal, early smooth base, 4 3/4"H, tooled mouth, a mint cologne exhibiting some light usage wear. American, probably blown at the Boston and Sandwich Glass Works, Sandwich, MA, 1860-1888, scarce color.

This spectacular cologne bottle was formerly included in the collection of noted Charles Street (Boston) antique dealer and collector, Bill Graham.
