ITEM 5756. PITKIN-TYPE INKWELL,
clear yellow olive, 36 ribs, ribbed and swirled to the left,
pontil scar, 1 ¾"H, outwardly tooled disc mouth,
about mint (small, skin deep base flake of no consequence). Blown
at an early New England Glass House, 1790-1820, rare.
Boldly ribbed and much lighter in color than most Pitkin-type
inks, this gorgeous little bottle would stand tall even in the
most advanced of New England Glass Collections.
