RARE PURPLE DR TEBBETTS' PHYSIOLOGICAL HAIR REGENERATOR - MINT

ITEM 5732. "DR TEBBETTS' / PHYSIOLOGICAL / HAIR - REGENERATOR", purple, rectangular, smooth base, 7 5/8"H x 2 1/2"W x 1 3/4"D, applied double collar, mint. American, 1865-1875, a scarce bottle in a rare color. Not pink nor amethyst but rather simply "purple" in color, this startlingly beautiful hair bottle passes light with relative ease, especially in the lower third. We have certainly seen Tebbetts in lighter colors (of course at much higher prices) but this is one of but a handful that we have encountered in this particular shade and color density. Boldly embossed and mint as the day it was blown, this is a Tebbetts you do not want to miss! SOLD!
