subtle amber striations, bell-shaped, pontil scar, 9 ½"H,
crudely applied mouth, mint. American, 1840-1860, extremely rare.
Reportedly one of only two known
examples, this startlingly beautiful figural whiskey or bitters
is a truly important bottle that would sit proudly in even the
most advanced collections. Not only "green" but pontiled
as well, this is one of very few figural bottles that can boast
of having both of the aforementioned qualities.
