EXCEPTIONAL EXPANDED MOUTH SQUARE 13 3/4"H UTILITY JAR - EX. NORMAN HECKLER COLLECTION

ITEM 5604. UTILITY JAR, yellowish olive green, square with widely beveled edges, well-defined sand chip pontil scar, 13 ¾"H, crudely tooled expanded mouth, mint. Probably blown at a Continental Glass House, 1780-1820, rare form. Ex-Norman Charles Heckler Sr. Collection.

We have had the pleasure of selling several jars of this type over the years but none could compare with this EXCEPTIONAL example, formerly included in the noted collection of Norm Heckler. The bottle is one of a large group of black glass bottles we recently purchased from an advanced collector and it is one of the best objects in the group. Best of all, it is priced to SELL at $975.
