OPALESCENT ROBIN'S EGG BLUE FREEBLOWN MIDWESTERN CREAMER

ITEM 5428. FREEBLOWN CREAMER OR SMALL PITCHER, opalescent robin's egg blue, bulbous body with applied solid handle, pontil scar, 4 1/4" H, tooled mouth with pour spout, about mint (crack across lower handle terminal that does not extend into the body). American, probably blown at a Midwestern Glass Works, C. 1840.

Blown in a WILD shade of color and distinctively Midwestern in form, this beautiful little cream jug is a superb piece of early American Glass.
