ITEM 5320. PITKIN-TYPE INKWELL, clear olive green, 36 ribs, ribbed and swirled to the left, pontil scar, 1 ¾"H, outwardly folded disc mouth, mint. Blown at an early New England Glass House, 1790-1820, rare.

Double patterned Pitkin-type inks are a significantly scarcer than those with only a single pattern and when found, it is often difficult to distinguish the vertical ribbing. It is a pleasure then, to offer this crisply embossed example in mint condition.
