ITEM 5217. BLOWN THREE MOLD CREAMER, (McK# GIII-24), vivid cobalt blue, applied solid glass handle with medial rib, tubular pontil scar, 4 1/8"H, hand-tooled mouth with exaggerated pour spout, about mint (hard-to-find flash in the handle). Probably blown at the Sandwich Glass Works, Sandwich, MA, 1820-1840, rare. Ex. Norman Heckler Jr. Collection.

Expertly blown and exhibiting a particularly gutsy applied handle, this spectacular creamer would be a superb addition to any advanced early glass collection. The noted flash is contained to handle itself and nearly impossible to see unless scrutinized very carefully. The flaw is very minor and the piece remains a superior example of a desirable Sandwich creamer.
