BOLD AND COLORFUL IP EHVB/NY HEXAGONAL PICKLE JAR - VERY RARE

ITEM 5106. "E.H.V.B. / N.Y." PICKLE JAR, deep aquamarine, hexagonal with gothic arches, iron pontil scar, 9 1/16" H, hand-tooled single collar mouth, dug and lightly cleaned retaining some spotty interior haze. American, C.1850, very rare. Crude, bubbly and boldly embossed, this rare iron-pontiled jar is as fine an example as one is likely to find. SOLD!
