ITEM 5096. FANCY PICKLE JAR, brilliant aquamarine, square with indented two-tiered oval label panels and embossed laurel wreaths, iron pontil scar, 10 7/8" H, hand-tooled single collar mouth, sparkling attic mint. American, C.1850, extremely rare. Bubbly, whittly and sparkling perfect, this highly unusual iron pontiled jar is the only example of its type (please note the two-tiered oval label panels) that we have encountered. SOLD!
