COLORFUL CATHEDRAL PICKLE JAR WITH EMBOSSED LAUREL WREATHS - MINT

 ITEM 5092. FANCY CATHEDRAL PICKLE JAR, deep, dark aquamarine or light blue green, square with embossed laurel wreaths, early smooth base, 13 1/2" H, hand-tooled single collar mouth, mint. American, 1860-1870, scarce.

Although somewhat later than the fancier cathedral type pickle jars, this extraordinary piece is blessed with the BEST possible glass texture (bubbles on top of bubbles!) and a nice splash of color.
