ITEM 5043. Impressively sized (a chunky 5 gallons) and decorated with an extensive floral spray, this fine stoneware crock is a particularly fancy example of the wares potted by the Burlington, Vermont Ballards in and around the Civil War period. As shown, the crock does exhibit some MINOR glaze flaking and some interior lime staining but there is no significant damage. Best of all, this big, gutsy Vermont crock is priced to SELL!
