CONNECTICUT DOMED INK - CLEAR YELLOW OLIVE
ITEM 4800. DOMED INK, clear yellow olive,
cylindrical, pontil scar, 1 15/16"H x 2 7/16"D, sheared
and fire polished mouth, mint. American, probably blown at an
early Connecticut Glass Works, 1800 - 1830, very rare.
Blown from a delightfully "clear" batch of pebbly New
England bottle glass, this unusually formed ink is not only quite
rare but also undeniably beautiful.
