ITEM 4687. UTLITY OR INK BOTTLE,
olive green, two-piece mold cylinder, pontil scar, 2 3/8"H,
sheared and fire polished mouth, mint. American, probably blown
at either a Keene or Stoddard, NH Glass Works, 1830-1850, rare
size.
Delightfully diminutive and wonderfully crude, this rare little
ink bottle is one of only a few examples we have encountered
in our pursuit of unusual New England utilities.
