ITEM 4443. "SARATOGA / (FIVE-POINTED STAR) / SPRING", (Tucker# S-52A), golden amber, cylindrical, smooth base, quart, applied sloping collar with ring, about mint (skin-deep 1/16" lip flake). Blown at a Stoddard Glass Works, Stoddard, NH, 1860-1872. Blown in the distinctively "syrupy" shade of golden olive amber bottle glass that is the hallmark of "Stoddard Glass," this fine early bottle will not disappoint. SOLD!
